I am amazed at
how many times this question has been asked. I just love the curious minds
of our readers! :) Number One asked Q:
"Where did you get the name 'Apple to the Core'?"
A: When growing up, I was a huge Beatles Fan and Apple being the Beatles'
own record label, true Beatle fans were considered "Apple to the core".
So this was my small tribute to the Band which is still one of my
favorites! But it
also has a second meaning - It means 'Everything from A to Z'.
Q: "Do you
really use all those tips you put on here?"
I have tried many of the tips and they have all worked for me! If I
haven't tried them, someone I know or a reader has and has
recommended it. I don't print them unless
Q: "Do you
print tips from others?"
Absolutely!! Many of the tips printed came from readers. If you've got some -
Q: "Have you
tried all the recipes you have on your website?"
A: All recipes have been prepared by family, friends, our readers or
myself. Each one must be highly recommended before being published. I
can't try every one because, like you, there are some foods I just don't
care for. However, I do publish all recipes that are recommended to me.
Q: "Why don't you have the calories and fat contents
on the recipes like they do in magazines and books?"
A: Most are family recipes
that have been handed down or just shared by friends and many of them did
not have the calories or fat. I have no idea how to break down the fat and
calorie contents of each recipe and don't dare try. If, by chance,
there is a count - I do print it.
A big thanks to everyone who has taken the time to write!
